Lunch at Jordan Pond

This afternoon Alice and I were joined by a few of her relatives for lunch at Jordan Pond. Popovers are the name of the game there, and we were all for the game. In addition to their absolutely delicious popovers, I also enjoyed a curried chicken sandwich- very good. I highly recommend Jordan Pond to anyone visiting the Bar Harbor/ Acadia area.

Hittin' the trails...

On our hike today, Alice and I encountered many beautiful views, as well as an adorable young squirrel. We decided to walk the Ship Harbor trail in Acadia since we were short on time. It's a very well maintained pleasant walking trail, with beautiful vantage points of the sound. Definitely a good trail for families.

My roommate informed me this morning that Jordan's Restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine is known for it's blueberry pancakes (YUM) and blueberry muffins (meh), so we got up bright and early (well, more like 9) and headed over to Jordan's.

A friend of mine hangs this bear from her rear-view mirror. Stuffed bears are known to spread cuteness.
