zia and the books

i saw the books for my very first time last night.  i can only hope this won't be the last.  there's really not much for me to say other than you really need to see them for yourself.  

i miss zia everyday.  it's amazing how much you can miss a dog.  especially one that wasn't even yours.  that's the danger of being in the dogsitting bussiness.  

so for today: a shitty digital picture of the books until i get my film developed.  and an old picture of zia, because words can not even begin to explain how much that dog meant to me.

This weekend, Sallie applied coconut oil to John's hair and scalp. The picture above shows Sallie and John mid-application process.
The final results were great. John's hair looked much smoother and healthier post-treatment!

Alice interviewed at Longwood Gardens today. We're all really hoping she'll get a place either in their professional work program, or their internship program.
It was nice going with Alice because they gave us all free garden passes for the day. I snapped this shot of Andrew in the spectacular conservatory.

spring break

philly's magic garden, once again.

Magic Gardens is always amazing. Today was especially special, though. I MET ISAIAH ZAGER! I had a bit of trouble articulating, but I was able to tell him how much I love and appreciate his work. Got to shake his hand; way too nervous to ask for a picture. Definitely one of the more exciting things that has happened to me lately. Or ever.
